An artist is someone who loves expressing his desire, talent and poetic drive to constantly produce various images on canvas. I am one of those artists. One must produce art every single day. That is me.
My name is Bruce Miles Jacovitz and I am currently an artist based in Tarrytown, Westchester County, New York. I have a BFA in painting from SUNY New Paltz, NY.
My current art medium is with digital Illustrator as well as acrylic painting.
I am most inspired by artists such as Robert Raushenberg, Wayne Thiebaud, Richard Diebenkorn, David Hockney, Chuck Close, and Frank Stella.
I favor using digital as well as acrylic artist tools because I am able to create at a much faster pace. The colors are very vivid and it’s wonderful to utilize digital techniques as my painters brush.
I produce all of my prints as Giclee prints.
Some of my biggest achievements have been selling my work here in Westchester County. I have sold work to Federal Express as well as others. I have shown my paintings at the Bridge Gallery in White Plains, Westlake Gallery in White Plains, the Silvermine Art Center in New Canaan Connecticut, and the Marisa Del Rey Gallery at 57th street in New York City, NY.
I am inspired by nature and structures so to join them together as constructions.
